Charters Towers Documentary Uploaded to YouTube

Charters Towers filmmaker, Orvon Gough has made a statement on the Towers Filmworks Facebook page about his pride in the documentary “Our World.”

Mr Gough is the co-producer of the documentary about Charters Towers and its community and the film is now available on the official Charters Towers Regional Council YouTube channel.

Mr Gough said in his social media statement that he was proud of the film.

“I’m really happy with the final film and it was very well received by the community when it premiered in September last year,” he said.

Mr Gough also gave thanks to people who helped create the documentary.

“I want to thank the Charters Towers Regional Council and all the people that allowed me into their homes and businesses to create this film,” he said.

“I want to thank everyone that sent in videos to make this film.”

Founder of Sumpton’s Gold Rush Gazette, Daniel Sumpton applauded the Charters Towers Regional Council for posting the full documentary on their official YouTube channel.

“The documentary being on YouTube is great because anybody from around the actual world can see us with the click of a button,” he said.
